Manage Invest is a product of MySF Pty Ltd. Our company was founded in 2004 and we are based in Melbourne, Australia.
We have two software products currently available: MySF Manager and Manage Invest. MySF Manager is a portfolio management software product that is specific to self managed superannuation funds (SMSFs). These structures are unique to Australia and are highly regulated by local authorities. Therefore, those managing SMSFs typically require specialist software. While MySF Manager is excellent for managing SMSFs, it is not suited to managing other types of portfolios because it has all of the SMSF tax rules and capital gain calculation rules built into the program.
Manage Invest was developed after we received many requests for a portfolio manager that can do all of what MySF Manager does, but works for many different portfolio types in many locations around the world. The current version of Manage Invest can handle virtually any tax system, any portfolio type and any currency. Tax rules and capital gain calculation rules are preloaded for USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand. When you set up a portfolio in Manage Invest the software will ask you where you are located, and will in most cases simply load all applicable taxes and rules and then behave like a locally developed portfolio management system. If information for your country is not included with Manage Invest then you can either load the tax rules manually, or use Manage Invest with no taxes defined.
The range of portfolios managed using Manage Invest includes personal portfolios valued at less than fifty thousand dollars, through to large and complex structures which control several billion dollars.
