Adding a New Asset Allocation Category

The list of existing asset allocation categories can be edited through the Asset Allocation Categories screen, accessible from the menu through System Setup -> Asset Allocation. The screen is shown below.

To add a new category, please follow these steps:

1. Click on the Add New button in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. This will add a new line to the list displayed.
2. Enter the name of the new asset category into the line that has been added.
3. Click on the ‘Save and Exit’ button near the bottom of the screen to save this change and exit from the screen.

After you have added a new asset allocation category it will appear throughout Manage Invest. For example, you will be able to set a target allocation level for category through Manage -> Target Levels -> Asset Allocation Targets -> Define Asset Allocation Targets.
