Setting Target Asset Allocation Levels for Your Portfolio
This feature enables you to define the percentage of your funds you would like to
allocate into each asset allocation category.
To view or change your asset allocation targets, go to: Manage -> Target Levels
-> Asset Allocation Targets -> Define Asset Allocation Targets. The Target Asset
Allocation screen is shown below.
On the left of this screen you will see a list of the asset allocation categories
in your entity. Note that you can change this list by closing this window and going
to System Setup -> Asset Allocation Categories.
Enter the target allocation for each asset allocation category under ‘Percentage’.
You can also enter tolerance levels. Tolerance levels serve as a buffer zone. For
example, if you define a target cash level as 5% and a tolerance of 2% then 3.5%
and 6.9% would be within the target zone defined by the tolerance levels.
Before saving, please ensure that your target allocations add to 100% (or 0% if
you do not wish to define any targets).
Click Save to save changes, then click Exit to close this screen.
